Scuba Diving in Neil Island
Shaheed Dweep is the slower Andaman island. We snorkel-talk Bharatpur and Laxmanpur. For tanks and SSI courses we base on Havelock, not Neil.

Neil is Shaheed Dweep
People still search Neil Island scuba diving. The island was renamed Shaheed Dweep. It sits a ferry hop from Havelock. It is smaller, quieter, and better known for easy snorkel water than for a dense dive-shop street.
What we will not pretend
Continental Scuba does not keep a Neil shop, a Neil boat roster, or a Neil site menu. Other centres on Neil publish their own reefs. Those names are theirs. We will not copy a competitor list and sell it as ours.
On Neil we talk about Bharatpur, Laxmanpur (Lakshampur), Sitapur, and Natural Bridge the way a guest actually spends the afternoon: snorkel, sunset, a walk. Six- and seven-day retreats can put a Neil night in the itinerary after Havelock scuba.
If scuba is why you booked the flight
Stay on Havelock. Train and fun-dive from Beach No. 5. Comparison we already give guests: Havelock or Neil. Sites we brief on this island: Havelock dive sites.
A common week: four nights Havelock, then two on Neil if you still want village pace. Do not reverse that if you want an SSI course — classroom days need the shop.
Dugongs and “secret reefs”
Neil’s seagrass gets mentioned in almost every travel round-up. Sightings are luck, not a product. We do not sell a dugong slot. If that animal is the only reason you chose Neil, say so on WhatsApp and we will be honest about what we can and cannot put on a boat plan.
