Havelock or Neil Island for Diving?
Swaraj Dweep vs Shaheed Dweep: sites, boats, and where we would base a dive-first week. Continental Scuba is on Havelock for a reason.

Names first
Havelock is Swaraj Dweep. Neil is Shaheed Dweep. People still use the old names, so we use both.
Havelock for diving
More sites — Dixon’s Pinnacle, Johnny’s Gorge, Aquarium, Seduction Point among them. More daily boats. More stays and ferry options. Our shop is on Beach No. 5 because this is where we can teach and run fun dives without hopping islands every morning.
Base here if scuba is the point of the trip, you want a course, or it is your first time.
Neil for a slower add-on
Quieter, more village, good snorkelling at Bharatpur and Laxmanpur. Fewer dive operators and fewer boats. Plenty of guests do four nights Havelock and two on Neil. Fine if the holiday is beach-first and diving is optional.
What we tell people
For a 5-day dive trip, stay on Havelock. Day-trip to Neil if you have spare time. We would say that even if the shop were somewhere else — the site list here is simply larger.
Contact us if you need ferry timing between the islands.
